By loosening the cocking lever on the pistol grip, it can be moved forward until the trigger system engages. Now push the lever back to its original position and the crossbow is cocked. The Siege has an automatic empty shot safety to prevent damage to the crossbow. Furthermore, the Siege has a tendon damper made of soft rubber.
