Micropur Classic inactivates bacteria and prevents the formation of odors in drinking water tanks and pipes.

The effect of Micropur Classic is based on the bacteriostatic and bactericidal property of silver.

Unlike chlorine, which acts in water for only a few hours, silver ions make water last up to 6 months. The silver ions attach themselves to the cell walls of microorganisms and thus prevent their growth.

Micropur Classic can be used wherever drinking water remains in a system for a long time – i.e. in cooling circuits, heating circuits, humidifiers, cisterns, water tanks, water baths, incubators, etc. Ideal for water conservation in the boat, camper or caravan.

For clear water, not for turbid water, as suspended matter can impair the effect of the silver ions. For turbid water, use Katadyn filter.
