Pocket BVM Einmal-Beatmungsbeutel
Der Pocket BVM ist eine äußerst leichte, kompakte Beatmungshilfe für die Verwendung bei Erwachsenen ab 40 kg Körpergewicht. Der Beutel und Zubehör werden in einer stabilen Aufbewahrungsbox mit gerade mal 13,4 cm Durchmesser geliefert. Dadurch passt der Pocket BVM wirklich in jede Tasche, Rucksack oder kann direkt am Körper getragen werden.
Ideal für Sicherheitskräfte im Einsatz aber auch zur Erweiterung der Betrieblichen Erste Hilfe Ausstattung oder Notfallausrüstungen.
Funktion des Beatmungsbeutels
Über ein Einlassventil wird Umgebungsluft eingesaugt und dann unter Druck über die Beatmungsmaske dem Patienten zugeführt. Das an den Beutel angeschlossene Sauerstoffreservoir steigert die Sauerstoffkonzentration bei der aktiven Gabe von Sauerstoff. Ohne Reservoir gelangt nur ein geringer Teil des Sauerstoffs in die Atemwege des Patienten, die größere Menge entströmt über die Maske. Bei Verwendung eines Reservoirs sammelt sich hier der Sauerstoff und wird dann beim Zusammenpressen des Beutels dem Patienten zusätzlich zugeführt. So kann eine Sauerstoffkonzentration bis 100 Prozent erreicht werden.

Der Einmal-Beatmungsbeutel lässt sich für Simulations- und Übungszwecke auch mehrfach verwenden und problemlos wieder in der Aufbewahrungsdose verpacken. Durch den Konnektor für den Anschluss von Sauerstoffflaschen, lässt sich der Pocket BVM Beatmungsbeutel auch als Inhalationsgerät zur Sauerstoff-Therapie nutzen. The bag and accessories are supplied in a sturdy storage box with a diameter of just 13.4 cm. Thus, the Pocket BVM really fits in any pocket, backpack or can be worn directly on the body.
Ideal for security forces in the field but also to expand the company first aid equipment or emergency equipment.
Function of the ventilation bag
Ambient air is drawn in via an inlet valve and then supplied to the patient under pressure via the respiratory mask. The oxygen reservoir connected to the bag increases the oxygen concentration during the active administration of oxygen. Without a reservoir, only a small amount of oxygen enters the patient’s airway; the larger amount escapes through the mask. If a reservoir is used, oxygen collects here and is then additionally supplied to the patient when the bag is compressed. In this way, an oxygen concentration of up to 100 percent can be achieved.
