Basic course tactical wounded care
Medical care under tactical conditions is becoming increasingly important. One reason for this is the constantly changing threat situation both in Germany and worldwide. In addition, it has been scientifically proven that a few actions at the right time can save people’s lives.
By the end of the course, each student will know the basics/objectives of tactical wounded care, be proficient in the 5 basic lifesaving procedures, and be able to safely use the medical equipment necessary to perform these procedures.
The main focus of the course is to train practical skills.
Contents of the course are:
– Principles / phases as recommended by the CoTCCC
– Equipment and use of an IFAK/JFAK
– Procedure for quick examination (body check)
– MARCH procedure
– Recognize, Treat Massive Bleeding
– Recognition, treatment of respiratory tract injuries
– Recognize, treat burns
– Recognition, treatment of fractures (broken bones)
– Recognition, treatment of eye injuries
– Recognition, treatment of head injuries
– Transport techniques of injured persons
– Documentation and handover

Arrival: 21.01.2022 until 20:00 for more distant arrivals
Departure: after the end of the training or on 23.01.2022

Number of participants: 10 max. BOC Community Members only (exception upon request)
