Nach dem unerwarteten Erfolg der ersten Auflage ist die zweite, überarbeitete und erweiterte Auflage entstanden. Natürlich ist dies auch dem aktuellen Zeitgeist und der Krisen weltweit zu „verdanken“ – auch wenn ich auf diese Krisen gerne verzichten würde. Die private Prepper-Szene und die staatlich verordnete Krisenvorsorge erhöhen stetig die Nachfrage nach einer einfachen Erklärung von technisch anspruchsvoller Kommunikation mit Funkgeräten und deren „optimalen“ Auswahl.
Alle Erweiterungen und Ergänzungen entstanden aufgrund von Nachfragen und dem Wunsch auf Vertiefungen. Beispiele sind hier der Betrieb von Repeatern/Relais zur Erhöhung der Reichweite, mehr Informationen zu CB-Funk, mehr Entscheidungshilfen zur Auswahl des „richtigen“ Funksystems (PMR446, Freenet, oder CB), mehr Informationen zu Software Defined
Radio (SDR), Digitalfunk und Übertragen von Text, dem Aufbau von Gemeinschaften und Kommunikationsplänen, sowie zu Antennen. Ein anderer Wunsch war es, eine Art „Quicktipps“ zu bekommen, um die wichtigsten Informationen auf einen Blick zu sehen. Quicktipps beantworten gestellte Fragen oder geben komprimierte Informationen zu einem
Sachverhalt, die wichtig sind.
Ich wünsche Euch wieder viel Spaß beim Lesen und hoffe, dass uns die Krise, in der wir Funk als Kommunikationsmittel nutzen müssen, nicht trifft. Bedenke, dass die private Notfall-Kommunikation (durch Funk) nicht die staatliche Informations- und Kommunikationspflicht bei Notfällen ersetzt, sondern diese nur ergänzt.
Zum Autor: Dipl.-Kfm. Alexander Krah beschäftigt sich seit Jahren mit dem Thema Notfallfunk und ist ein von der Bundesnetzagentur lizensierter Amateurfunker. Dieses Werk rundet seine Kurse zu diesem Thema ab und bietet dem Leser ein Nachschlagwerk.
Die Inhalte wurden in Zusammenarbeit mit nationalen und internationalen Spezialisten aus dem Bereich Militär, Polizei und Rettungsdienst abgeglichen, um eine praxisnahe Anwendung im Krisenfall zu gewährleisten.

Ich gebe diesem Buch auf jeden Fall fünf von fünf Sternen das ist ein tolles Buch für jeden der sich für das Thema notfunk interessiert ein tolles Nachschlagewerk absolute Empfehlung von mir ich bin sehr begeistert wie das Buch verarbeitet ist es ist sehr toll gelungen und es wird sehr viel erklärt ich freue mich sehr dass dieses Buch endlich verfügbar ist obwohl es schon sehr lange hätte verfügbar sein sollen aber nun endlich ist es da danke liebe black ops Gemeinschaft eure Arbeit hat sich echt gelohnt mit diesem Buch
